Proper Flushing: Things Edmonton Drain Cleaners Wouldn’t Want to See

Unless you’re intentionally burning a hole in your pocket due to repairs or wish to be regularly reprimanded by professional Edmonton drain cleaners, these are the things that should never go down your drain. Dental floss – Sure, dental floss after using could be a bit gross and deserves to be thrown out (actually it has to be thrown out). However, its final fate should never be a trip down the drain and into the sewers. This is because dental floss isn’t biodegradable, and when they accumulate and get tangled up over time, they could form a ball large enough to block an average sized pipe.

  1. I had no idea dental floss was not biodegradable! I'm guilty of throwing them down the drain when I'm done. I'll never make that mistake again! Thanks for the tips, Greg! Plumbing
